Roy orbison
To be recognized as our competitors, we have what is virtually one of the best types of motivation. But for many of us when it happens to be recognized, we feel uncomfortable, embarrassed us, too. Accept compliments graciously, and dignity is something that we can only with difficulty.
I have recently experienced a good example of the arts to praise. The recipients of the recognition was in the late Roy Orbison and Bob Dylan during the recording of The Traveling Wilburys.
When he found the Traveling Wilburys (Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty), mounted George Harrison's friends, whom he considered the best-of-the-best in their respective fields. During a moment of exuberance during the shooting, was Roy Orbison as a compliment the best singer in the world, and Bob Dylan as the best lyricist. Orbison, Dylan, and smiled his agreement with the compliments and the other host. You have not tried their egos by questioning or denying compliments stroke.
Orbison and Dylan knew perfectly well what they did: they had to show the values on the table to find it. You can also learn from the answers. If, however, feel more comfortable with a verbal answer, smile and say: "Thank you. It means a lot to me when you say, dass" The emphasis it means to embody the comments anymore, because who does what they mean. There is a subtle compliment to your answer.
Help Orbison and Dylan's response to select three "don'ts".
1. Do not want to detract from the praise. If someone gives a compliment by saying: "They treated the situation very well," not to say, "Oh, it was nothing. Who could have done." Statements like these impair the praise and personal comment on your results.
2nd Do not try to repay you, the compliment. Changing to praise a child's perception of hypocrisy. People know when the compliments are justified.
3. Do not let the compliments go to his head. Imagine a compliment, a motivating incentive to encourage them to do or get better. Think more about how to improve and start doing differently to make work. Remember what Adlai Stevenson said of compliments: "flattery is like smoking cigarettes .... OK, as long as you do not breathe."
Their efforts are obviously attractive praise. How do you react, it is commendable to help identify you as a person who deserves recognition.
